Includes an explanation of how to earn feet of growth every week and instruction for the students on how to collect resistance cards by identifying obstacles in their practice each week and trying various strategies to overcome them. Each week’s assignment page contains a place for a music vocabulary term, technique assignment, repertoire assignments, an improv pattern, and a place to record all their growth. The back of each page contains images of piano keyboards and a staff for handy theory assignments or explanations. A dictionary of music terms is included at the back of the book.
