To Italy with Vivaldi and His Four Seasons | Piano Camp Curriculum – Piano Expeditions Level Two

Journey through The Four Seasons with Antonio Vivaldi as he imaginatively captures the sounds of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter in his beloved Violin Concerto. Along the way we’ll learn about major and minor pentascales, sing a traditional Italian folk tune, learn a lively tarantella dance, improvise and compose original music, and be transported to far away lands with a young piano student. So hold on tight as you embark on this adventure into the wild and wonderful world of music!

Piano Expeditions are designed for students ages 4-10 who are beginning to explore the world of music. Level Two is especially designed for students who may have participated in a Level One Piano Expeditions program previously. Students build on piano keys that have been previously introduced, and fun activities, games, and stories continue to cultivate music appreciation. Five days of lessons can be scheduled consecutively in one week or spread out over a period of five weeks, and each lesson is designed to be 1.5 hours of class time.
