Much like learning any language this requires a solid grasp of the fundamentals, a large quantity of material to play through, and the ability to apply our knowledge in various contexts.

Cracking the Crystal Code gives students the opportunity to work their way through three caves that correlate with the above skill areas: Fearless Flashcards, Persistent Playing, and Enthusiastic Exploration. As they pass through the caverns of each cave they will collect digits that they can use to crack the code on their personalized lockboxes and collect an assortment of beautiful crystals. As they work hard to acquire these necessary sightreading skills, they will find that not only do they make noticeable and rewarding progress externally, they are also contributing to the person they are becoming on the inside – a person of determination and devotion. That is the true treasure that they will take with them for the rest of our lives!
